Two day trip from Ouarzazate to our desert camp Chegaga.

Day 1

OUARZAZATE – LA VALLEE DU DRAA – CHEGAGA – OUARZAZATE
Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora-Chegagaid

4×4 circuits Desert BivouacIn the morning we start with the 4×4. Our driver brings you to Mhamid a small village at the edge of the Sahara desert. We are passing the valley of Drâa and its thousand and one kasbahs. We pass through the village of Zagora and Agdz. In Tamgrout we stop to visit the Koranic Library. We go on an excursion to a local pottery and we discover the undergourd streets. Afterwards we drive to the dunes of Chegaga via Mhamid. In our desert camp Chegaga we have a nice dinner at the campfire and we sleep between the biggest dunes of Morocco.

Day 2

Chegaga – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Ouarzazate

Departure to Ouarzazate via the trail from the erg Chegaga and dried bed of Drâa via Lake Iriqui, then Foum Zguid and continued by road via Taznakht and photo stops will be made during the day between Taznakht continuation to Ouarzazate

Practical information

Depart from M’hamid in the afternoon

Price inclusive:

camel ride
lunch in the open desert or in the shade
of a palm tree
overnight stay in a Nomad tent at Bivouac
Laila and an overnight in bivouac Chegaga
2x evening meals and 2x breakfast, a bottle of water is included with dinner and breakfast.
transfer by 4×4 from Mhamid to Chegaga and back.
